General Information

Quakertown Christian School was established in 1951 in order to provide students with a quality academic education integrated with a Christian view of God and the world.  The QCS staff is professional and oriented to serving families by teaching and modeling a Christ-centered life that glorifies Jesus Christ.  Over the years the school program has expanded and the facility has grown into two campuses but the mission remains the same:

Quakertown Christian School, a Mennonite school, is in partnership with home and church in the process of developing physical, intellectual, spiritual and social life skills for each child using Biblical values and a challenging academic environment to instill a sense of Christian community and service.

From the basement of the Rocky Ridge Mennonite Church where the first class of 19 students and one teacher met to the newly constructed Main Campus building on Paletown Road serving 200 students in grades K-8 and the Preschool on Rocky Ridge Road with over 100 preschool students, QCS has endured and prospered because of the faithfulness of the Lord and His people – prayer partners, board members, teachers and parents.

The close personal instruction with a family atmosphere and a global emphasis attracts parents who are seeking an accepting and friendly environment for their children. The faculty, who represent a variety of academic credentials and backgrounds, are selected on the basis of their Christian testimony, love and concern for children, professional training and ability to teach.  Our commitment to Biblical values, academic excellence and community responsibility is reflected in the students who go forth from QCS to other institutions of learning.

Parents play an important role in projects that bring quality educational experiences to our students as volunteers in the classrooms and library and as organizers of annual school events.  By investing some time in the school, parents help keep a quality program of Christian education affordable for students.

The 50 East Paletown Road main campus is located one mile off Route 313 just east of Quakertown; the 143 Rocky Ridge Road preschool campus is ¼ mile off Paletown Road.  Busing to QCS is available from nine surrounding school districts for students in K-8 grades.
