Fine Arts Program
Quakertown
Christian School Fine Arts Program facilitates student exploration and
development of other intelligences through music, art and drama. Through these programs QCS students are
encouraged to discover their God-given gifts, recognize the gifts of others,
and work together as they broaden their cultural knowledge.
The Music
Program Serves:
- Students (QCS Students K-8, Homeschoolers)
- Appreciate a variety of music (vocal/instrumental)

- Express joy and faith
- Learn responsibility, dependability, discipline
- Provides optional instrumental instruction
- All third graders are given recorder instruction
- Instrumental lessons, three bands (beginner, immediate, advanced)
- Choirs (Grade 4-5, Middle school), Tone chimes
- Community / Local Church
- Provides Community Outreach opportunities
The Art
Program Serves:
- Students (QCS students K-8)
- Create, explore and experiment with a variety of mediums
- Receive instruction in the elements and principles of art
- Evaluate art and artists through field trips
- Evaluate history through the lives and eyes of artists
- Community

The Drama
Program Serves:
- Students (QCS Students K-8)
- Develop stage presence
- Develop acting skills as a means of expression
- Engage in set construction and backstage work
- Learn dependability responsibility and discipline
- Evaluate local drama productions
