The QCS Elementary Program serves students in grades kindergarten through grade five and is located at the Paletown Road campus. The campus has a full gymnasium, 26 workstation computer lab, resource room, music room and a multipurpose room designated for art and home economics. In addition to the gym, athletic facilities include locker rooms, separate fields for soccer, field hockey and baseball/softball.
Each self-contained classroom is comfortable, inviting, and provides a variety of opportunities for student involvement. Students are challenged to work to their learning potential and encouraged to work at their own level. Field trips and resource persons are often used to enhance units of study. A quality academic program including reading, math, science, social studies, and language arts is taught at each grade level. Art, music, library instruction, computer technology, and physical education enrich the basic curriculum. Biblical instruction is integrated into the school day and the life of each student. Service projects are encouraged at each grade level. Parent involvement is encouraged and appreciated. Average class size is 17 students for the elementary level.
