
Quakertown Christian School Fine Arts Program facilitates student exploration and development of other intelligences through music, art and drama. Through these programs QCS students are encouraged to discover their God-given gifts, recognize the gifts of others, and work together as they broaden their cultural knowledge.

Learning Support Program- This program helps students with varying educational needs achieve academic success by providing teaching methods and instructional strategies to accommodate individual learning differences within the confines of the general education classroom.
QCS students grade K - 12 are encouraged to develop stage presence, acting skills as a means of expression and engage in set construction and backstage work.
As part of the 6th grade Bible curriculum, a drama is performed each year during chapel. They learn about set construction, costumes, lighting, and backstage direction. They learn to develop their acting skill and use their creativity in this process. This drama is a ministry for the school and helps the student to not only develop pubic speaking, responsibility, and teamwork, but also, to use Christian drama as a means to evangelism.
Several classes go to the Pennsylvania Youth Theater as part of their program of study. This is an enrichment activity for Literature and English.
The high school works with Child Evangelism Fellowship, CEF. Our students visit a local day care center where they perform monthly puppet shows. Their goal is to help kids hear and understand how to receive Christ and grow in their faith.
The Quakertown Christian School Physical Education and Athletic Departments, seek to develop the God-given abilities of each student in preparation for successful team experiences. This educational arena will be used "to develop the spiritual part of the athlete so that the Holy Spirit is in control, directing mind and body." (1 Thessalonians 5:23)
Spanish is taught to grades K-8. Grades K-5 have Spanish one day a week all year long while middle school students, grades 6-8, have Spanish every day for one marking period each year. Basic vocabulary and grammar is presented as well as Hispanic culture. The foreign language program seeks to motivate and prepare our students for future foreign language study and Christian service.
The computer science program aims to equip students will the skills they will need to succeed in a computer-saturated culture. Students from K – 3rd Grade learn computer basics, such as navigating a desktop and web browser and creating and saving simple word processing documents. Students in 4th Grade focus heavily on developing proper keyboarding skills, while students in 5th Grade become acquainted with Microsoft Office programs. Middle school students go deeper with Office and also learn how to use the Internet safely and responsibly.
The QCS Library has over 9000 titles including reference books, fiction books, nonfiction books, books on tape or CD, videos, DVDs, and magazines. The library has an on-line program for circulation, an available on-line catalog and Web Express service that allows students instant access to thousands of relevant, safe, grade-appropriate internet sites. Kindergarten through fifth grade have weekly classes. Middle school has a monthly check-out time. All grades use the library for research projects and reports.
