Preschool

Quakertown Christian School’s Preschool Program provides developmentally appropriate social and learning experiences for children who are two through five years of age. Our teachers create a loving and nurturing classroom atmosphere in which Christian values are modeled and incorporated into all aspects of our curriculum. Each child is encouraged to develop a positive attitude towards learning through our thematic activities and “hands on” experiences. Located on it’s own campus, our spacious facilities provide the children with inviting classrooms, a library, computer lab, gymnasium, indoor recess room and outdoor playground. An extended care program, both before and after our school day, provides many choices for parents to plan around their workday schedules.

Classes Offered

Mom & Tot
A two hour, one day a week program which focuses on interactive playtime and learning activities. Children should be 2 by September 1st. Parent or caregiver must accompany child.
Thursday: 9:15-11:15

3 Year Olds
Children should be 3 by September 1st and toilet trained.
Classes meet two days per week:
Monday/Wednesday 9:00 – 11:30 or
Tuesday/Thursday 9:00-11:30

4 Year Olds
Children should be 4 by September 1st
Classes meet three days per week:
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 9:00-11:30 or
Monday/Wednesday/Friday 12:30-3:00

Pre-K
Children should be 5 by November 1st,
or by teacher recommendation.
Classes meet 4 days per week:
Monday through Thursday 9:00-11:30 AM
Monday through Thursday 12:30-3:00 PM

Extended Care

Extended Care is available for enrolled students Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM on an as needed or regular basis.

"We looked at several pre-schools prior to enrolling our son at QCS. Since day one, we’ve been more than impressed with the education he receives here. Our son is always excited to check out “the board” where his teachers map out the daily schedule. There’s a great mix of reading & writing exercises (including cute songs & crafts!), as well as Bible lessons which apply Christian values to childrens everyday lives. Aside from classroom activities, the children participate in field trips related to the month’s season or theme. The children are encouraged to socialize & have fun with their fellow classmates. Often it’s a tricky feat to capture children’s’ attention, trust and respect but the teachers at QCS have a truly God given ability to do this."
