A Private Christian School Educating Bridge Kindergarten Through High School

Vision, Mission, and Values

Vision

Equipping students to impact their world for Jesus.

Mission

Equipping students to be leaders through an exceptional education within a culture emphasizing Christ-like love, peacemaking, and service.

Values

In all aspects of Quakertown Christian School, we value:

Jesus Christ:

The model and teachings of Jesus are the foundation on which our ministry is built. Jesus, at work in individual lives and in all our relationships, creates a culture of grace, hope, and love evidenced by peacemaking and service.

Each Child:

We believe each child is created in the image of God, gifted with unique talents and abilities; we offer them a safe place to explore those gifts. By helping them to understand their value in Jesus Christ, we encourage them to use their gifts and abilities to uniquely further God’s Kingdom work, both here and around the world.

Excellence:

We provide a Biblically-integrated education with a curriculum that includes academics, arts, and athletics, as well as character building and conflict mediation. We expect and encourage everyone within our school community to always do their very best.

Servant-Leadership:

We develop leaders who follow Christ’s example of serving others first by providing opportunities for students to come alongside other students in mentoring programs, community outreach, and mission trips. These experiences strengthen our capacity for humility, empathy, and compassion while also nurturing confidence and awareness.

Intentionality:

It is our desire that any family who values Christian education should be welcomed in our school. It is our intention to work alongside engaged families to provide educational services and support to the best of our ability while maintaining policies which support the sustainability of the school as a whole. Additionally, we recognize the importance of communication between teachers, students, parents, faculty, administration, and board. Communication happens through weekly newsletters, class emails, parent-teacher conferences, town meetings, and various other methods.

Values Statement adopted July 14, 2016, by the Quakertown Christian School Board of Directors.

Membership and Accreditation

Academic Accreditation

Quakertown Christian School is accredited by Cognia and Mennonite Schools Council (MSC).

Mennonite Education Affiliation and Accreditation

Quakertown Christian School is a member of the Mennonite Schools Council, a network of 20+ pre-K through 12 Mennonite schools serving more than 9,000 students in the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada. MSC advances Christ-centered education by networking schools and equipping them to implement the vision of Anabaptist-Mennonite education. QCS is honored to have earned accreditation through this educational body.

In 2023, in addition to the MSC accreditation, QCS also earned academic accreditation from Cognia, whose review process was selected for its rigorous academic review, as well as a commitment to a holistic continuing improvement process. Having these two accreditations, though more work, reflects our desire to be committed to both a high educational and spiritual accountability.
